Are these hand painted sarees difficult to maintain?
No, the care of the fabric essentially remains the same. Dry cleaning is recommended for Kanchipurams, Silks, and Chiffons etc. Paints used are pigments which do not bleed.
How long will the order take?
The complexity of the design and order determines the amount of time taken. If the fabric has to be sourced and dyed, the order will take longer. Ideally, sarees in common colours will take 2 weeks after confirmation and reciept of payment. Specially dyed colours ( like half and half sarees) will take 20 - 22 days.
I have an old saree and want it to look different. Can anything be done?
Yes, we can incorporate the design in your saree even if it has a zari border or small buttis to give it a fresh look.
I need a saree that is half blue and half pink. Can you do that?
Yes, in these cases I get the saree dyed and then do the painting on it. Any combination in any arrangement like diagonal / vertical etc is possible.
