 I am  textile designer with over 20 years of experience in this creative field. Having worked in textile mills as a designer, I moved on to set up my dream… that of bridging the gap between designer and the end user and proceeded to launch my own line of " Krish Designs" under the banner of Balaji Handpainted Creations.

I have attained my qualifications in Textile Designing from the Delhi Polytechnic. I  worked as a designer in Laxmi Mills Coimbatore and at Bagla Silks and Neelkanth Silks before setting up my own design collection of handpainted designs on sarees,   dress materials and furnishings.

I've  produced over 1000 hand painted sarees and exclusive dress materials. My designs draw inspiration  from the rich traditional art forms of Madhubani, Kalamkari and Warli, as well as  Floral Art and contemporary art designs.  I handpaint on a variety of textiles like Kancheepurams, Mysore Silks, Tusser, Chiffons, Crepes, Polycotton and cotton.
